It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Schachtner (Carroll, Iowa), who passed away on January 31, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Brand and Dora Brand (Phelps); her husband Joseph; her son Robert; her grandson Bryan Murphy; and her siblings, Edward Brewer, Milton Brand and Florence Cannon.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy, Ronald Schachtner (Janet) of McKinney, Joyce Murphy (Dennis) of Kansas City, KS, Janet Raatikka (Luther) of Apple Valley, MN and Barbara Lang (Curtis) of Bentonville, AR. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
