She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, August Heithoff and Anna Heithoff (Beerman); her husband Louis Lechtenberg; and her sister-in-law Mary Lechtenberg of Carroll. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews as well as other extended relatives.
