He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Ellen Halverson (Keister); his parents, B. G. Halverson (Burton) and Alma Halverson; his parents-in-law, Harold and Martha Keister (Yeager); his sister Marguerite Werner (Halverson); his grandson Sean Halverson; and his stepgranddaughter Terin Hart.
He is survived by: his sons, Myron Halverson (Joani), Mark Halverson (Debbie), David Halverson (Mary), Douglas Halverson (Karla) and Dierk Halverson (Barbara); his wife Esther Halverson; his stepdaughter Ann Chambers (Kent); his brother Paul Halverson (Ardelle); and his sister-in-law Susan Bohlender (Jack). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 33 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the Coon Rapids American Legion or the First United Methodist Church in Carroll.
