With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald F. Tigges of Carroll, Iowa, born in Saint Anthony, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse and Elizabeth; his brothers, Walt and Jerry Tigges; his mother-in-law Bernice Hanlon; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Sovich, Edward Hanlon and Alyce Hanlon.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hanlon; his children, Brian Tigges (Michelle), Marty Tigges of Arcadia, Kristie Tigges of Minneapolis, MN and Anne Tigges of Carroll; his grandchildren, Tyler Tigges (Meaghan) of Urbandale and Rachel Tigges of New York, NY; his great grandchildren, Mairin, Sloane, Camryn and Quinn Tigges; his sisters, Ruth Ann Tigges of Carroll, Carolyn Sovich of Ormond Beach, FL, Mary Jane Schenkelberg (Morrie) of Sioux City and Rosalie Davis (Jon) of Reed Springs, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Mary K. Tigges and Velma Tigges. He is also survived by many extended family members, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Those attending are required to wear a face covering and abide by current social distancing guidelines.
