She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert "Pat" Poeppe and Julia Poeppe (Nieland); her sisters-in-law, Ruth Poeppe of Emmetsburg, Bea Poeppe of Emmetsburg, Bernice Halbur (LaVern) of Missouri and Rosie Martin (Charles) of Waucoma; her husband Delbert Brincks; her siblings, Anita Poeppe, Wayne Poeppe (Alvina), Fern Dobbins, Ken Poeppe and Dale Poeppe; and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Brincks, Darlene Brincks, Mary Ann Schlichte (Orville) and Irwin Brincks.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Geister (Gary) of Carroll, Dean Brincks (Barb) of Lodi, WI, Darwin Brincks (Jennifer) of Carroll and Donna Monson (Murray) of Boone; her grandchildren, Tonja Geister, Heath Geister, Holly Myrtue (Aaron), Paige Geister (Luke Eischeid), Kristine Herbert (Brandon), Lisa Brincks, Joe Brincks (Angie), Alex Brincks (Emmy), Rachel Werkmeister (Dakota), Dr. Nathan Monson (Kathy) and Lucas Monson; her great grandchildren, Lewis, Olivia, Remmington, Emery, Ellis, Hanalei and Gabriel; her siblings, Phyllis Lindsey of Laurens, Pat Metzger (Howard) of Estherville and Zeline Gappa (Joe) of Emmetsburg; and her brothers-in-law, Ken Dobbins of Omaha, Melvin Brincks of Roselle and LeRoy Brincks of Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for St. John Paul II Parish or Kuemper Catholic Schools.
