It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Gross of Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on May 28, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Halbur and Rita Halbur (Steffes); her daughter Pamela Anthofer; her siblings, Gerard Halbur, David Halbur, Russell Halbur, Annette Vaughn and Roger Halbur; and her parents-in-law, Mona Halbur, Walter Gross, Mary Ann Kirsch, Louise Mikkelson (Don), Carol Gross, Richard Drees, Aggie Grossman, Margaret and Joseph M. Gross.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane; her husband Joseph Gross of Carroll; her daughter Maria Bretey (Travis) of Carroll; her son-in-law Chris Anthofer of Glidden; her grandchildren, Micaela, Tyler, Katelyn Carter, Madisyn Bretey and Brianna Anthofer; her siblings, Art Halbur of Joliet, IL, Beverly Lorenz (Roy) of Byron, IL and Randy Halbur (Patty) of Guthrie Center; and her siblings-in-law, Vincent Gross (Nora) of Carroll, Bernice Drees of Mapleton, Norma Gross of Carroll, Cecelia Simpson (Mike) of Marion, Ben Gross (Vicki) of Breda, Delores Boes (Leroy) of Carroll, Denny Grossman of Glidden, Joleen Sander (Dave) of Carroll and Andrew Kirsch of Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
