With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Denis Alspach of Carroll, Iowa, born in Saint Anthony, Iowa, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Alspach and Ruth Alspach (Toms); and his siblings, Joseph Alspach (Bud), William Dorman (Bill) and Marilyn Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Billmeier; his children, Sheila Mahan (Tom), Connie Brock, Pam Peterson (Pete) and Ron Alspach (Jill); his grandchildren, Beth Bailey, Joshua Prine, Kristin Prine, Amanda Bartheld, Andrew Brock, Dylan Lawler, Kenny Hansen, Jared Hansen, Bliss Weitl and Alex Gilland; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Carson and Colton Carson; and his siblings, Lea Hoffman (Lyle), Jeanette Heilman, George Alspach, John Alspach, Carolyn Alspach, Nancy Heckathorn (Daryl), Peter Alspach and Jerry Alspach (Jean). He is also survived by twenty-six great grandchildren.
