With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delores Vonnahme of Carroll, Iowa, born in Templeton, Iowa, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stevens and Louise Stevens (Kroeger); her husband Ray Vonnahme; her son Gene Vonnahme; her daughter-in-law Joyce Vonnahme; her great grandchild Lily Emehiser; her siblings, Gladys, Joe, Don, Marvin and Mel Stevens; and her sisters-in-law, Alberta, Alice and Helen Stevens.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Vonnahme of Carroll and Ron Vonnahme (Mary Lou) of Dubuque; and her daughter-in-law Charlene Vonnahme of Carroll. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; as well as other extended relatives and many friends.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Breda American Legion Auxiliary for over 50 years, and volunteered with New Hope Village Shop and RSVP.
