It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleo Marie Ankenbauer (Carroll, Iowa), born in Epworth, Iowa, who passed away on July 2, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas; her siblings, Kenneth, Bob, Larry, Paul and Shirley Squires; and her great grandchild Zachary James McDonald.
She is survived by: her spouse Doug Ankenbauer; her children, Deb McDonald (Jerry) of Des Moines, Ken Ankenbauer (Joan) of Epworth, IA and Tina Crise (Dave) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Ryan McDonald, Dan Ankenbauer, Brad Ankenbauer, Andra Borgerding, Amanda Crise and Emily Crise; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, Kinzly, Benjamin, Letti, Bailey and Jackson; and her sisters, Naomi Reeves of Davenport and Mary Louise Brockman of Carroll.
