Claudia Dolezal Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Dolezal (Carroll, Iowa), who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Claudia Dolezal to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Anthony and Mary Kathleen Edwards Jaeger; her siblings, Mary Kathleen Stetson, John Anthony Jaeger, Joan Anita Maniag and Thomas Frederick Jaeger; and her grandparents, John, Loretto Edwards, Walter and Matilda Jaeger.

She is survived by: her husband Fred Dolezal of Anthony's Catholic Church; her children, Sara Elizabeth Kersey (Mike Kersey) of Manhattan Beach, California, Kathleen Louise Dolezal of South Bend, Indiana and Timothy William Dolezal (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Peter, Clare, Colleen, Margaret, James, Mark, Jack and Luke; and her siblings, Elizabeth Jaeger Anthony, Clare Jaeger Friedman and William Anthony Jaeger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sharp Center. A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Lawrence Church – St. John (1607 N West St, Carroll, IA 51401).
