She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis "Glen" Adams and Kathryn Adams (Eggers); her husband Roger Wernimont; her son Marc Wernimont; her grandson Cody Ryan Heller; her sister Colleen Sievers; and also, Albert, Rosalia Wernimont (Baumhover), Jerry Sievers, Jean, Ralph Fischer, Jerry Wernimont, Phyllis, Larry Hinners, Merle, Marvin and Ron Wernimont.
She is survived by: her nephews, Keith Adams, Rick Snyder, Mike Kruger and Sam Wernimont; her children, Jill Wernimont of Carroll, Tony Wernimont (Bobbi) of Glidden and Jodi Wernimont of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Kelsi Wernimont (Cori Hyde), Kenzi Wernimont, Kyler Fehring (Bailey Finken), Lexi Wernimont (Sam Ritchie) and Emma Wernimont-Berry (Jalen Steege); her great grandchild Harper Wernimont; her siblings, Loren "Tex" (Judie Adams) of Estherville, Larry "John" (Cheryl) and Norma (Robert Holley) of Scranton; and her siblings-in-law, Dale Wernimont of Breda, Alan Wernimont (Sheryl) of Carroll, Bev Kruger (Melvin) of Churdan, Patricia Wernimont (Sue Bailey) of Omaha, Nebraska, Nancy Pudenz (Jeff) of Churdan, Lori Walter (Craig) of Papillion, Nebraska, Linda Wernimont of Carroll, JoAnn Wernimont of Carroll and Mary Wernimont of Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM. A rosary was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (226 W 8th St, Carroll, IA 51401). A Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Holy Spirit Church - St. John (421 Bluff St E, Carroll, IA 51401).
