She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gute and Anna Gute (Soyer); her husband Raymond Pollastrini; and her brothers, Art Gute, Don Gute and Wally Gute.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Dave Nelson; her children, Julie Hukee (Bruce) of Urbandale, Mark Pollastrini (Cindy) of Newton, Maria Huston (Jim) of Des Moines, Gina Nelson (Dave) of Carroll, Paula Yetmar (David) of Carroll and Matt Pollastrini (Dawn) of Waverly; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Gute of Carroll and Mickey Gute of Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
