It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Madden of Carroll, Iowa, born in Red Oak, Iowa, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Madden and Genevra Madden (Parsons); his parents-in-law, Earl and Dorothy Zaiger; and his siblings, John, Larry, Robert and Mary Jane.
He is survived by: his parent-in-law Bev Zaiger; his wife Bev; his children, LaDonna Lebeck (Randy) of Grand Junction, Bert Madden III (Pat) of Carroll, Iowa, Mike Madden of Carroll, Iowa and Chad Madden (Shelly) of Carroll, Iowa; his grandchildren, Nicole Lebeck, Candace Saffell (Corey), Jacy Newton, Bert Madden IV (Codee), Samantha Humble (Sam), Brittany Kokenge, Michelle Andersen, Cole Madden and Chase Madden; and his brother Tom. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
