We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2023, at the age of 89, Anna Johnston of Carroll, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Mergen and Anna Mergen (Fries); her husband Lloyd Johnston; her siblings, Imgard, Fanz, Alvis Erich and Agnes; and her granddaughters, Amy and Ashley Johnston.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lenche, Bernhard and Margrete; her children, Gerd Johnston (Kim), John Johnston (Penny), Bob Johnston, Kathy Lampe (Mike) and Marina Weber (Mark); and her grandchildren, Aaron, Justin, Tyler, Amber, Jeremy, Joshua, James and Christina. She is also survived by 7 great- grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
