She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bissen and Anna Bissen (Erlbacher); her stepson Bill Christiansen; her brothers, Francis Bissen (Marce) and Leonard Bissen (Bernice); and her parents-in-law, Helen Bissen and Tony Schiltz.
She is survived by: her former spouse Linus Goblirsch; her spouse La Vern Christiansen; her children, Mary Schoeppner (Tom) of Templeton and Joe Goblirsch (Pat) of Jesup; her stepchildren, Mary Ann Wilhelmi of Colorado, Bob Christiansen of California and Kathleen DePedro of Texas; her grandchildren, Ann Meiners (Barry) of Ankeny, Beth Hudson (Jake) of Ankeny, Nick Goblirsch (Randall) of Davenport, Matt Goblirsch (Sarah) of Cedar Falls and Leah Mahan (Patrick) of Smryna, GA; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Tyson Meiners, Luke, Nora, Kate Goblirsch, Jack and Henry Mahan; and her siblings, Benita Schiltz of Earling and Marvin Bissen of Harlan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
The casket will be moved to St. Lawrence Church on Wednesday where visitation without greeting the family will be held from 12:30 to 1 p. m. Those in attendance of all services are required to wear a face covering and abide by COVID 19 social distancing procedures.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Kuemper Catholic Schools Tuition Assistance Fund.
