It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wally Burgin (Carlisle, Iowa), born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Walter Burgin; and his grandparents, Kenneth and Ann Schweppe. He is survived by: his mother Martha Burgin (Schweppe); his wife Trish; his daughters, Grace Zihlman (Matt), Faith Burgin and Aubrey Burgin; his granddaughter Sadie Zihlman; and his sisters, Joni Burgin Hartshorn (Bob), Lori Nielsen (Nick) and Jeanne Nelson (Todd). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
