She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Lona Thomas (Ghent); her husband Charles Freel; her brothers, Howard, Ed, Dale and Dick; and her half-brother Bailey Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Freel (Susan), Shelley Huffaker (David) and Randall Freel (Gayle); her grandchildren, Heather Vlasek, Todd Huffaker, Ken Vesey, Abby Freel and Katherine Freel; and her great grandchildren, Sydney Ulch, Brody Ulch, Sam Huffaker, Greta Huffaker, Cole Vesey and Jack MacDuff.
Memorials for Thelma may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or Rising Sun Church of Christ.
