The memory of Shirley Stanton (Carlisle, Iowa), who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Boatwright and Valeria Boatwright (Scovel); her husband Harry; her brother Bobby; and her son-in-law Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, Sherelyn Wilson and Terry Stanton; her grandchildren, Leland (Erin), Valeria, Landon, Eric (Kelsey) and Shawn; and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Piper, Fynnegan, InzeLynn, Madison, Gabriel, Dominic and Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Peterson Funeral Home (415 School St, Carlisle, IA 50047). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Powers Warren Cemetery.
