Robert Matthew Benton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Matthew Benton of Carlisle, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 21, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Benton and Imogene Benton. He is survived by: his wife Linda Barkley; his sons, Russell Benton (Melinda), Chad Jennings (Wendy) and Tyson Jennings; his sister Marian Youngblood; and his grandchildren, Nathan Jennings, Abigail Jennings, Mason Moody, Riley Benton, Molly Jean Benton, Westie and Fiona Fae.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Carlisle United Methodist Church (402 School St, Carlisle, IA 50047). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials in memory of Robert may be given to the Carlisle United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
