He is survived by: his wife Marlys; his children, Regina Pirtle and Jeanine Crise (John); his stepchildren, Douglas Blumer, Sheila Kelly (Kevin) and Thomas Blumer; his grandchildren, Will Pirtle (Molly), Jason Pirtle (Marra) and Michelle Crise (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Reese, Gianna, Lucca, Nora, Justin and Alissa; and his sister-in-law Dixie Hayward. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
