He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Ellis Howe and Irene Marie Cochran Howe; his wife Elvira Marie Freeman Howe of Carlisle, IA; his brothers, Bill Howe (Sandy) and Jim Howe; his children, Robert "Bob" Howe of Des Moines, IA, Brad Howe (Lorie) of New Virginia, IA and Amy Bush (Larry) of Mitchellville, IA; his sister-in-law Sandy Howe; and his grandchildren, Alaina, Bradley, Elizabeth, Sarah, Remington, Kelly, Dominique and Brittany. He was also cherished by nineteen great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Bob also enjoyed playing golf and merged his two biggest hobbies by making a quilt which was auctioned for the Angelman's Foundation Golf Tournament.
