It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keota Gordon Sherman of Carlisle, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on October 11, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Walter and Bernice O'Dessa Hardenbrook (O'Dell); and her brother Kenneth Hardenbrook. She is survived by: her children, Donald Gordon (Patricia) of Des Moines, Russell Gordon (Julie) of Des Moines and Connie Hotchkiss (Edward) of St. Petersburg, FL; her grandchildren, Sonny Hotchkiss, Christopher Hotchkiss, Rebecca Wutzke (Michael) and Eric Gordon (Sarah); and her sister Jeannine Ellsworth of Orlando, FL.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
