He was predeceased by: his parents, Geren Burton and Mildred Burton (Brown); his siblings, Bob Burton and June Johnson; and his half-sister Joyce Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Newsum; his children, Annette Bierkamp (Bob), Ed Burton (Dana) and Alicia Shaul (Jonathan Bever); his grandchildren, Wendy Arch (Gene), Kenny Floyd, Arielle Santefort (Dave), Jake Floyd, Kristina Nurnberg (Eric) and Kaylee Ruiz-Bever; his great grandchildren, Franklin Arch, Charlie Arch, Gus Arch, Maya and Chase Nurnberg; and his sister-in-law Barb Burton.
He entered Heaven on Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Good Samaritan Nursing Home from Covid-19.
