It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Elaine Kelley of Carlisle, Iowa, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Blakey and Linnea Anderson Blakey; her husband William Kelley (Bud); her brother Ernest Blakey; and her son-in-law Bob Mees.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Mees of Grain Valley, MO.; her granddaughter Chelsea Buhrman; her great grandchild Robbie of Omaha, NE.; her granddaughter Kristina Mees of Grain Valley, MO.; her son William Kelley (Kelley) of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Lauren Friedrichs (Kristen) and Grant Kelley (Danielle Merideth); her sister-in-law Verna Blakey of Corydon; and also, Verneva Roe (Rea) of Waukee and Madolyn Kelley of Belmond.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Corydon or Carlisle United Methodist Churches, Prairie Trails Museum in Corydon or Every Step Hospice in Des Moines.
