He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Leland (Hennick) and Lewis Leland; his wife Thelma Wheeler; his son Kirby Leland; and his granddaughter Brooke Leland.
He is survived by: his children, Joetta Leland, Julee Petersen (Troy) and Kurt Leland (Lisa); his daughter-in-law Carol Leland; his grandchildren, Kollin Leland, Kylee Leland, Kent Petersen (Amanda), Brice Petersen (Madison), Devin Leland (Sierra), Jenna Bonde (Jesse), Jayden Leland and Tate Leland; his great grandchildren, Amaya, Mira, Elena, Navy, Anne, Chance and Edie; and his sister Dorothy Hynd.
