Vernon J. Truemper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon J. Truemper of Camanche, Iowa, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Medline Truemper (Cagna); his wife Deloris Kephart; and his brothers, John Patrick and William Truemper. He is survived by: his father William Truemper; his sons, Gerald Truemper (Christie) of Solon, Steven Truemper (Weiwei) of Eureka and Craig Truemper (Lori) of Tomahawk, Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Chad, Jeremy, Forrest, Jacob, Angela, Christopher, Michael, Tiffany, Chelsea, Kimberly and Patrick. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
He was the president of the Camanche School Board from 1966-1971 and a volunteer for RSVP for many years.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or to masses at the church.
