He was predeceased by: his mother Winona; and his brother Charles Kisner. He is survived by: his wife Pam of Camanche; his children, Chad Kisner (Sarah) of Marshall, Windy Kremer (Matt) of Clinton and Nathan Kisner (Siwema De) of Camanche; his granddaughters, Teri Lynn Lamp (Keir Blank), Tiffany Lamp (Lucas Smith), Olivia Kisner and Madeline Kisner; and his siblings, Laurie Meythaler (Joe) and Travis Kisner Jr. (Melissa).
