She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Caven and Mrytle Caven (Clark); her former husband Doug Martensen; her husband Dean Hackney; her stepson Mark Martensen; and her grandson Jeramy Tucker.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hackney (Theresa) of Camanche, IA and Susan Knuth (Dan) of Oconomowoc, WI; her stepdaughter Paulette Seeser (Brent) of Clinton, IA; and her grandchildren, Aubrey Schultz, Courtney Hobbs (Tom), Keylon Hackney (Shea), Drew Hackney (Samantha), Jack Knuth, Lindsey Knuth, Nick Knuth, Paige Seeser, Brooke Gunderson (John) and Brenna Steingraeber (Adam). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
