He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Pietscher and Hattie Pietscher (Schlotfeldt); his wife Dorothy Helble Pietscher of Camanche; his nieces and nephews, Charles Pietscher (Anne) of Keokuk, Melody Pietscher of Davenport and Jorie Shire (Jason) of Swisher, Iowa; his brothers, Reed and Dary; and his nephew Del Reed Pietscher. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
