Mary Ann Hehlke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ann Hehlke of Camanche, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Hehlke to pay them a last tribute.
As we bid Mary farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mary is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Levetzow and Bernice Levetzow (Stahmer). She is survived by: her husband Heinz Hehlke of Camanche; her children, Jim Hehlke (Sally) of Cedar Rapids, IA, David Hehlke of Clinton and Susan Kjormoe of Camanche; and her brother Robert Levetzow (Diane) of Clinton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church — Camanche (1519 S Washington Blvd, Camanche, IA 52730). She also loved to cook and especially bake – during Covid she baked 100 loaves of bread that she donated to folks through family, friends and the Church.
