He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Bendlage and Lois Bendlage (Reed); his sister Lori Becker; and his father-in-law Richard "Rich" Orman. He is survived by: his wife Faith Bendlage of Camanche; his children, Leslie Ross (Brian) of Cedar Rapids and Lindsay Schutte (Andrew) of Clinton; his stepchildren, Andrew Schutte (Brandon) of Clinton Heather, Anthonie Medellin (Lauren) of Texas and Ashley Medellin of Texas; his stepmother Sondra Bendlage of Fort Madison, Iowa; his sisters, Lisa Lee (Vern) and Andrea Bendlage; his stepbrother Burk Schelen (Kelli); and his parents-in-law, Dora Orman of Camanche and Floyd Schutte (Joann) of Camanche. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
