He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Goers and Janice Goers. He is survived by: his significant other Lorie Waugh of Camanche, Iowa; his daughters, Kelli Goers (Joseph Jurkowski) of Crystal Lake, Kathi Gosnell (David) of Des Moines, Iowa and Lorie; his siblings, Steven Goers (Willona) of Columbia and Lynn Hixson of Indianapolis, Indiana; his uncle Duane Goers of Cedar Rapids; his cousin Kathleen Wilden (Mark) of Marion, Iowa; and also, Alan Phillips (Marisa) of Rockwall and Ian Waugh (Brenda) of East Moline, Illinois. He is also survived by grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
