He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Halweg and Anna Halweg (Friedrich); his wife Lydia Marie Colfer; his siblings, Lorraine Harris, Darlene Brandt, Harlan and Daniel Halweg; and his daughter Karen Zinn.
He is survived by: his children, Lee Halweg (June) of Oconomowoc, WI, Les Halweg (Kay) of Evansville, IN, Roberta Rousseau (Kevin) of Boise, ID, Wendy Radant of Waukesha, WI and Carla Mastalir (Gary) of Sussex, WI; his grandchildren, Loren Halweg of Oconomowoc, Ronda Cook of Evansville, Tiffany Gruner (Michael) of Evansville, Trystan Rousseau of Boise, Nathaniel Rousseau of Boise, Josiah Radant, Renae Jones and Daniel Mastalir (Tina); his great grandchildren, Jordan Potts, Reagan Bradshaw, Aiden Bradshaw, Lilly Gruner Tyler Jones, Skylar Mastalir and Hunter Mastalir; and his brother Ralph Halweg (Marinell) of Denver, IA..
