He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Atkinson and Honora Atkinson (O'Brien); and his siblings, Fran, Kay, Marg, Rhonda, Jack, Joe, Bill and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline "Jackie" Carber of Camanche; his sons, Kevin Atkinson (Missy) of Camanche, IA and Kenneth Atkinson (Debi) of Geneseo, IL; his grandchildren, Jaiden Atkinson, Dakota (Erin), Cole and Tanner Atkinson (Anna); his siblings, Pat Greve (Frank) of Camanche, IA, Dan Atkinson of Moline, IL and Steve Atkinson (Deb) of Bettendorf, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Klinkner of Clinton, IA, Tony Schultz of Camanche, IA, Steve Brown of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Carol Atkinson of Preston, IA, Linda Atkinson of Lost Nation, IA, Jane Atkinson of Preston, IA and Barb Dodd of Clinton, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
