With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Oran Eicher (Camanche, Iowa), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on December 29, 2018 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Eicher and Emma Eicher (Schultz); his former wife Beverly Eicher (Erickson); his sister-in-law Patricia Eicher; his brother Carl Eicher; his sister-in-law Juanita Eicher; his sister Alice Campbell (Eicher); his brothers-in-law, Leonard Campbell and George Ross; and his son-in-law Rick Wiedner.

He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Erickson; his former wife Betty Jo; his daughters, Zona Arvig (Richard) and Denice Wiedner; his stepsons, Gary and Robert Gest; his grandchildren, Nicole Loyek (Dan), Aaron Arvig (Kari), Adam Arvig (Mary), Robyn Kapparos (Travis) and Rachel McClimon (Bryan); his great grandchildren, Preston, Savannah, Reece Loyek, Margaret, Levi, Chase Arvig, Vanessa Peterson, Cortney Keeler, Camryn, Connor Kapparos, Brennan McClimon, Aden and Piper McClimon; and his siblings, Dan Eicher (Mildred) and Joyce Ross. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a favorite charity.
