He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Catherine Jordan Franzen, Jay Keiller, Paul Willis and Maria Coder Smith. He is survived by: his parents, Brad Smith of Clinton and Kimberly Willis (Trevor) of Camanche; his siblings, AudreyAnna Alm (Carl) of Princeton, Bree Mohr (Nick) of Ankeny and Cassie Willis (Kali) of Clinton; his nephew Reid Drennen; his niece Isla Alm; and his grandparents, Ruth Keiller of Clinton and Ronald C. Smith of Camanche. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
