He is survived by: his son Eldon; his daughter-in-law Billie Giese (Tieso) of Fond; his daughter Christine; his son-in-law Michael Powell of Papillion, NE.; his grandchildren, Christina Giese (John Kellbach), Jody Mentele (Mark), Jessica Commo (Scott), Jon Powell (Cheryl) and Kari Zehren (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Rueben Westra (Amanda), Evan, Mariah Loehr, Lee Kellbach, Malia, James Mentele, Sydney, Sophia Commo, Henry and Claire Zehren; and his great great grandchildren, Wyatt Manning and Viera Westra.
Ed coached and umpired Little League baseball for many years and asked that memorials go to Clinton Little League Baseball.
