He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. McManus and Ila M. McManus (Bentley); and his brothers, Don and Tom. He is survived by: his sons, Albert McManus (Shannon) of Camanche, Daniel McManus of Camanche and Michael McManus (Kay) of Camanche; and his brothers, Robert McManus (Bonnie) of Camanche and James McManus (Kathy) of Olympia, Washington.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
