As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Daniel may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mallinger and Helen Mallinger (Zaehringer); and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Mary Cruse of Camanche; his daughters, Karen Mallinger (Steve Underwood) of Clinton and Cheryl Everson of Clinton; and his siblings, James Mallinger of Clinton and AnnMarie Mallinger of Clinton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Dr, Clinton, IA 52732). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
