We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2024, at the age of 98, Betty Abshire of Camanche, Iowa, born in Clinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Armstrong and Honore Armstrong (Wood); and her husband Clarence Abshire. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Pollard (Russell) of Royal, AR, Joy Bentley (Roger Sr.) of Clinton, Blair Abshire (Barb) of Kirksville, MO and Robert Abshire of Clinton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren (with one on the way) and 3 sisters in-law; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
