With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Dale Meyer of Calmar, Iowa, who passed away on August 2, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Meyer and Laura Mae Meyer (Vsetecka) of Fort Atkinson, IA.; his siblings, Virginia Cloninger, Charlene Schmitt, Robert and William; and his great grandchild Jayden Heisler.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores (Holthaus); his children, Arlen Meyer (Burla) of Lakewood, CA, Steve Meyer of Decorah, Tina Hansen (Roger) of New Hampton, Connie Berry (Bobby) of Arlington, IA, John Meyer of Orlando, FL and Karla Klimesh (Bill) of Protivin; his grandchildren, Misty Marsh, LeeAllen Meyer, Kelly Zilem (Ricky), Crystal Soppe, Tarron Glidden (Ty), Mike Hansen, Jackie Olsgard (Jason), Tony Berry, Chelsea Berry, Jamie Heisler (Jake), Robert Klimesh and Kyle Klimesh; his siblings, Carole Burke (William) of Waucoma, James Meyer (Janice) of Fort Atkinson, Daniel Meyer (Jeannie) of Garden Grove, CA and Peter Meyer (Marge) of Decorah; and his aunt Ellen Riese of Colo, IA.. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
