It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Marie Hoffert Calmar Iowa (Calmar, Iowa), who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi "Tony" Taylor and Ruth Taylor (Lewis); and her husband Robert "Jim" Hoffert. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Hoffert (Loyce) of Monona, Eric Hoffert (Janice) of Northborough, Jamie Hoffert (Renee) of Brooklyn and Steve Hoffert (Tara) of Fort Atkinson, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wellington Place in Decorah, Iowa and Calmar Library.
