He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Pommer; his siblings, Marcell Rasch and Kendra Crapser; and his in-laws, Duane and Kathey Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Pommer of Callender; his children, Cody Pommer (Stephanie), Amara Pommer, Zach Harris (Bailey), Jake Harris (Tani) and Kayla Harris (Luke); his mother Donna Pommer; and his sister Melanie Fortney. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home (307 S 12th St, Fort Dodge, IA 50501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
