It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Edward Pierce of Callender, Iowa, born in Lake City, Iowa, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren (Frances Pierce) and Earl (Pearl Kelley); his stepfather Richard McCormick; and his children, Heidi Marie Pierce and Robert Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Godfrey of Callender; his sons, Dale Edward "D. J." Pierce Jr. of Arkansas and Douglas Godfrey of Fort Dodge; his grandchildren, Morgan, Cameron, Chase, Justin, Braylynne, James, Jaxon, Elisabeth and Myles; and his siblings, Roger Smith of Omaha, NE, Randy Smiht (Sue) of Union, KY, Jon Smith of Fort Dodge, Jerome Smith of Fort Dodge, Particia Strunk (Gary), Renee Phifer of Washington, IA, JoAnn Pierce (John) of Clarinda, Eileen Long of Fort Dodge and Elisabeth Richards (Don). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
