He was predeceased by: his son Stephen; his parents-in-law, Clyde and BerNeysa Miersen; and his brothers-in-law, Garland "Pete" Hanson, Roy Pliner and Jerry Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette "Jean"; his daughters, Christy Fiala (Alan) of Webster City and Susan Wells (Brian) of Mustang, OK; his grandchildren, Jessica Lomicka (Bryan), Erin Fiala and Abby Luevanos (Marcos); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Paige Heslop, Aspen, Ashton Lomicka, Jonah, Josiah Fiala, Lailah, Lukah and Lieum Luevanos; his great great grandchild Ayva Lomicka; his sisters, Betty Hanson, JoAnne Pliner, Judy Payne, Judy Corell, Mary Schuster (Joe) and Bette Schroder (Mitch); and his former wife Jeanette Miersen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
