It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Natalie Hesse Regan of Calamus, Iowa, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McDonnell and Mary McDonnell (Dever); her son Bob Hesse; her grandsons, Rob Z. Hesse and Austin Hesse; and her parents-in-law, Rita Turner, Robert McDonnell (Donna), Charles McDonnell (Norma), Paul McDonnell (Lucille McDonnell Humphrey), Gene McDonnell (Gloria), Gerald McDonnell, Bernie McDonnell (Virginia), May Saddoris (Melvin), Milly Waters (Paul), Julian Regan (Shirley), Margaret Stillmunkes (Gene), Monica Hoerner (J. C.), Joyce Regan (Fred), Polly Takes (Harold), Amelia Bruck (Neil) and Jim Regan.
She is survived by: her husband John C. Regan August; her children, Noreen Gosch Hartney (George), Ronald Hesse (Janine), Lawrence, Black, Richard Hesse (Bobbie), William Hesse (Shelley) and DeWitt; her stepchildren, JoAnne Regan of San Diego, CA, Mary Jane Regan, Patrick Regan (Sue), Mark Regan (Deb), Parkview, Tom Regan and Kevin Regan (Paula); her grandchildren, Christine Rostenbach (Wes), Joe Gosch (Nancy), Johnny Gosch, Chris Hesse (Donna), Aaron Hesse, Marcus Hesse (Amanda), KaSandra Hesse Brenny (Brad), Autumn Griffin (Scott), Amber Berger, Andrew Hesse, Holly Matoesian (Charles), Tracy Brinkmeyer (Greg), Ryan Regan, Matt Regan (Susie) and Rachel Regan; her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Amanda, Alaina Rostenbach, Sydney, Gabriel Boeckmann, Eric, Emmit Griffin, Ian, Madison Hesse, Morgan Hesse, Kayla, Meagen, Zander Berger, Jaxton Evans, Lydia, Charlotte Brenny, Cole, Drew Brinkmeyer and John; and her parent-in-law Agnese (J. C. Ripple). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
