She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Petersen and Virginia Petersen (Fenske); her grandparents, Eugene, Lydia Petersen and Norma Fenske; and her sister Kari Beth Petersen.
She is survived by: her sister Ann Petersen of Calamus; her goddaughter Holli Mosher (James Elliott); her aunts, Gloria and Judy Fenske of Luverne, Minnesota; her uncle Howard West of Altoona; and also, Isabella, Lelu, Skky, Jersey of Wheatland, Kayla Martens (Tony), Taya, Bryant of DeWitt and Alan Lee of Calamus.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the family or the University of Iowa for kidney research.
