We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2024, at the age of 87, Diane Sherol Christensen of Calamus, Iowa, born in Dewitt, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewalt Emil "Abe" and Leone Krukow (Hoffman); her spouse Jan William Christensen; her siblings, Merlyn Krukow (LaVoy) and Coral Hesse (Don); and her brothers-in-law, Vernon "Gabby" Fletcher and Robert Braunschweig.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Steffens (Scott) of DeWitt, Yale Christensen (Brenda) of Calamus and Chad Christensen (Colette) of Calamus; her grandchildren, Kelsey Edwards (Cale), Kramer Steffens (MacKenzie), Rebecca Shorter (Zach), Mitchel Christensen (Melissa), Nolan Christensen (Victoria Anderson) and Makenna River (Peyton); her great grandchildren, Tate, Kellan, River, Kinnick, Rachel, Caycee, Lucas, Bennett, Natalie, Everlee and Calum; her sister Joyce Fletcher; and her sister-in-law Sharon Braunschweig. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
