In the vast expanse of eternity, Robert Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Robert Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie Pearl Allen (Perkins); his wife Verdadean Fee; and his parent Vernal Allen. He is survived by: his children, Ross Allen (Doris), ZoeAnn Allen, Randol Allen (Darla) and Joy Trude (Steve). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Olive Chapel Cemetery in Marion County or Pringle Cemetery in Mahaska County.
