She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan Dunkin and Dorothy Samuelson; her children, James Thomas, Douglas Thomas and Katherine Thomas; and her brother Lowell Dunkin (Beverly).

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Thomas (Tammie) and Dorothy Curtis (Ron); her grandchildren, Shantelle Markley (TJ) and Makinzee Heitman (Evan); her great grandchild Draeger Markley; and her siblings, Beverly Hugen and Wendall Dunkin (Linda).
